Prayer requests: -My aunt (unexpected cancer surgery and treatment scheduled) -family friend (recovering from liver transplant this week, please let his body accept this precious gift) -family friend (sigmoid colon surgery Monday) -friend (dear, sweet mother passed away) -aunt (upcoming back surgery, struggling with chronic, intense pain) -dear/best friend (pain and grief) -friend (dealing with several family losses and immense grief) -family friend (elderly couple in very poor health, alone and isolated in the country, struggling with basic necessities like how they will heat their home this coming winter and afford food and medications, dealing with Alzheimers, recovering from heart attack, cancer, and loneliness) Gracious, Heavenly Father - please wrap Your loving arms around each of these people and bring them healing and comfort. You know the endless list in my prayer journal, those listed above and those more personal and unspoken. Please give my spirit strength during this time of steadfast prayer for my family and friends. In the name of Christ Jesus, our risen Lord and Savior, Amen.
