Prayer requests for June 30, 2014 Willow is still pregnant. I will try to update you as soon as I hear she is in active labor. She is hanging tough for now. I am sure she is really ready to do this. Lores is close to death. Its been 7 days with no fluids, no foods. Her family has gathered and they are taking shifts giving her comfort care every 2 hours round the clock. Dear God this wonderful woman has given so much. She is weary. We ask that when you are ready, please take her home. Her remaining life here has become unbearable for her family to watch. Keith went into a hospice care place. The family is gathering. Our father God please see your son and allow him a peaceful passage. Michael fell into a fire pit with burning embers. He has 3rd degree burns and is now in a burn hospital. Burns are very painful. Prayers for a friend of Sue named Debbie. Many issues and prayers needed. Update, will be getting rehab in a special hospital nearby. Teresa has kidney failure. Prayers requested. Tonis friend Carl Walker survived a crush injury. They have managed to get him awake after induced coma to avoid the worst of the pain. He wants to go home to care for his dog. This is progress! Suzanne is at home on bed rest. Doing better everyday. Garret continues recovering well from surgery and is now walking without a cane much of the time. He still cannot lay flat in a bed, however. He had a follow up visit with his doctor a couple of days ago and is progressing as hoped for. A close high school friend of his committed suicide and he is having difficulty dealing with that, of course. Debbie P needs a heart valve replaced. Its something from when she was born and it finally needs to be fixed. I pray she is able to QUIT SMOKING and follow the MD instructions to help get her up on her feet again. Nancie is still sick and they cant figure out why she is losing blood. She has had a multitude of tests. Puzzling MDs is not fun.She has some intestinal rawness, but they are not sure if that is where the bleeding is from. Baby Clay as always. Baby Spencer had an MRI and they can longer see his brain tumor on scans. The doctors are amazed. Beautiful news! Cindy Irving requests continued prayers. She is improving and knows that God is healing her. Betty asks for prayers for Daniel, Lori carsyn and a co worker whos husband just passed away. Prayers for Gayle who is having a procedure done today. Blessings for a little cat named Melody who has added so much love and fun to the home that rescued her. Stephanie got new meds and should be doing better soon. I see her struggle on some days and my heart breaks. Phyllis Kimbrough a wonderful woman who is only in her 50s and is suffering from cerebral atrophy. Now wheelchair bound and the MDs took forever to diagnose her and now offer her no hope, no cures, no treatments. She is not a quitter so prayers will be appreciated. Sharon, a lovely lady nearing 90, has had major knee pain due to osteo arthritis for many years. She has been willing to try several different natural remedies (since the doctors have not been able to help this pain) and none of them has worked either. She sees a new orthopedic doctor this week to see if there might be any other approach. My heart aches for her. Last time we saw her she thought she might no longer be alive when we return to Florida in October. Update. She has seen a good ortho doc and since there is nothing left but bone on bone he is suggesting knee replacement as the only alternative to all this pain. She is considering it. Cynthia and Peter need prayers in her first trimester with their second child suddenly uterine tumors appeared. It is a hereditary condition that usually requires a hysterectomy . Prayers that they can bring the baby to at the very least 26 weeks so she does not have to make the painful choice to abort the pregnancy to save her life. May the healing hands of man be guided by The Lord to heal everyones pain, no matter the form it comes in. Prayers for Ron who is having great challenges right now. Prayer for a young man who has reached the end of his rope and is hanging on hoping for help where he has been refused at every turn...his emergency is dental in nature and he believes has come to the life threatening point. please lord give me the will to pull through this, to prosper for my family and new found friends! amen Kims mother, Imogene, is doing a little better but she asks we still pray for her. thank you Russell Brooks had to be air lifted to the ICU of a hospital and could use prayer. I believe he had some sort of overdose so he will have more road to travel than just meeting medical needs.Cindy asks we continue prayers. I hope she updates us soon. Kreirsten has a Pseudotumor Cerbri and the family requests prayers for this 20 year old woman. She is in constant pain, bed ridden, and the hospital has had more than its fair share of boo boos in her care which have contributed to her situation. Prayers for Sues friend who is in bad need of dental help. He is infected and in pain and many places have turned him away. Brandon is struggling. She is back in pain. The family wants her back on steroids which were helpful, but they are reluctant to put someone on big time long term steroids as their are big consequences to that choice. Prayers for her and the family to help bring her back to stability again. Prayers for my sister who sees me headed home to live and is challenged by it. Please help her see me as a blessing, not a curse. A kind hand, not a harmful slap. A partner, not a thief coming to steal what she believes is hers. A loving influence on her children. A stable influence on her mother, herself and her children. Lord help her see me for who I am, not for who she believes me to be. Dodie is having a hard time with stress and anxiety. We pray she is either able to find peace or find the lesson in the stress so she can let it go. If you have someone on the list, please update us.
