Prayer warriors....... GUESS WHAT.......... AGAIN!?!?! First thing this morning our nurse came in our room (about 7:30am) and told us that Vanderbilt had a room available for Jayd... WHAT?!?!?!?!?! We werent even expecting that until mid-late afternoon, if at all. AWESOME!!! Even more... after she was able to contact Air-Evac (our transportation) at 8am she told us that they would be there to pick Jayd up in 45 minutes. WHOA!!! What a way to start our day!!! ON TOP OF THAT..... Jayds platelet count this morning was 18... EIGHTEEN!!! They were 4 when we came initially came in. WOWZA!!! They gave him a transfusion last night, which immediately brought his count up to 25. They nurse expected it do drop to half of that over night... so to come out with a count of 18 was fantastic. Jayds white blood cell count has improved and his liver count has also gone down (it was through the roof!). He also has been walking a lot better (the pain in his legs was making that very difficult). Yall... this is crazy!!! So, Jayd made it safely to Vanderbilt. They are running all sorts of tests and working to get an answer. Ill fly out tomorrow and be reunited with my love! I heard a song this morning on the way from the hospital--- tons of thoughts flooding my mind--- and it was so perfect and timely. Theres tons more I could add to this post... but Ill leave you with this instead! I hope it encourages you. Our God is such a strong source of hope and life.
