PrayerPost: June 24 – Mali and Niger are two countries that until recently were known for their stability and openness to the gospel, despite being predominantly non-Christian. But that has since changed with a spate of terrorist attacks. In the towns of Arlit and Agadez, over 400 miles north of Maradi, where our friends and missionaries in Niger live, terrorists attacked a uranium mine and a military camp simultaneously. Over 20 soldiers were killed. In the capital of Niamey, two guards at the main prison were killed. Pray for the security and peace of Mali and Niger, and especially for western missionaries in these countries. Pray that God would give wisdom to national leaders and that every efforts of the enemy will be completely thwarted. Pray for Rich & Ginger Jorgensen, missionaries from Elim Fellowship, whom God is using to impact the nation of Niger.
