Prayers NOW PLEASE for my old mare Percheron - found serious infection in her front right fetlock and forleg on the backside this evening. Fetlock looks wretched and I wont go into details . . . waited for John to get home from Gburg to help me wrassle her to clean it out - and she is NOT wanting us to mess with it AT ALL!! Put her on some powdered bute a vet gave me a few years back to ease any discomfort. Cant get a hold of Seymour Vet after hours emergency care and not sure if this is something to call UT vet hosp for or to try to clean and fight her over it and wait for regular farm visit in morning . . .
