Prayers are also needed for my father. He was admitted to the hospital last Thurs, and came home on Tues, after having had a biopsy on Mon. He has, as I understand it, an appx 2x4 mass. He has long suspected cancer because the pain was identical to what his father had before he was diagnosed with and died of cancer. We will not have the biopsy results until Monday, but dad does not want surgery or chemotherapy. He has lost a tremendous amount of weight, due to not being able to eat or sleep, and is extremely weak. I ask for your prayers to ease his pain, and for strength for everyone in my family to be able to deal with the difficult days ahead. Especially for my mom, who has been married to my dad for 55 years now and is going to be lost without him. And while we are talking about my mom, please continue your prayers for her own battle with her cancer. She has finished her internal radiation treatments, and will have a follow-up appointment in a few weeks to check her progress.
