Prayers for TJ and his family! I have a lot of great memories of TJ. 5 years ago almost exactly to the day TJ went with me and 4 other friends on a road trip to Memphis, TN to watch a UFC fight which was headlined by BJ Penn against Diego Sanchez. TJ was working for Fed Ex at the time and pulled an all nighter in Springfield and as soon as he got off that Saturday morning he drove to White Hall to meet up with us and we took off for Memphis. TJ was so glad to be there just like all of us but the poor guy fell asleep through some of the fights. Needless to say from the trip down and back to the the time at The hotel, the visit to where the Memphis Redbirds play and to the UFC fight it was something I was never going to forget! It was tough leaving home because Brooklyn was only a month old but it was well worth the memories all of us had from that trip. TJ wanted him and I to take a trip to South Bend, IN to catch a Notre Dame game but regrettably we never got the chance to! My senior year in baseball TJ made the joke as we were all warming up for our game which went what do you get when you put a whole bunch of Jeremys in a line? A Spicket Fence I couldnt help but laugh because he was making fun of my skin complexion. We occasionally had our trips to Lone Oak for some golf on a weekend as well. I remember the first time he held Brooklyn she was just over a year old and we were watching a UFC fight at another one of our friends house and TJ picked her up and was playing with her throwing her up and h about sent her into the ceiling fan which made me go easy there buddy lol. He was a blast to be around and it was even more fun competing with him, Cody and his father in the dynasty baseball league that I have been in for the last 7 years! Today has been hard on so many but when your daughter sees you break down with tears running down your face the only thing I could do was hug her tight and tell her that grown men do cry! I love you TJ my good friend and make sure you tell Stan The Man up there in Heaven that Albert has nothing on him that he is the true Cardinal! Long Live the Palm Street Pirates/Donora Legends! Godspeed my friend.
