Prayers for my Uncle Ivan Crawford from Bertram. He was put on hospice yesterday. As a child growing up we spent all of our young childhood going to his farm,hunting,picking pecans,boating,fishing and eating many many meals with him and Aunt Lois !! They would come to our house and we would make homemade ice cream and sit in the yard for hours at Grandmas !! He played hide n seek with us just like he was a young kid.... jumping from trees hiding in bushes to running around like he was a monster. He bought all my brothers cigars for Xmas one year that they smoked on their new bicycles. Uncle Ivan was the only one that was able to get away with something like that. He took me on my first fishing trip to the public boat ramp in Buchanan Dam! I caught my first fish and it was bigger than his!! Ohhhh the memories with that man. His laugh is simply amazing and his smile will melt your heart. I soooo love you Uncle Ivan. I pray that you are not in pain and that peaceful rest will take you home to be with Aunt Lois, Jack, Mom,and Grandma Hilda !!
