Prayers please for our area & the victims of the Clover Fire! We just got off the phone with one of our neighbors who barely got out alive with the animals as the fire was raging down on them. My sweet PC Mary Burger one whose home survived only because of the clearing around her place & the amazing fire fighters efforts to protect it. Her family has lived here for hundreds of years & she says they are the lucky ones. Chic & Bob Miller and the hundreds of animals at Bella Vista Farms- Animal Sanctuary are fine. I was told that Cal Fire & Company surrounded the farm and they dropped water all along the ridge & that the winds favored them & turned away. All is well but as ALWAYS Chic needs $$$ to help care for the critters! So please take time to tell the ones you love what they need to know & make sure you are living life in color, the lights could go out in an instant & it would suck to have wasted one moment not enjoying this gift called life! So find time to take a nice hike with someone you love & remember to make time to stop & smell the roses!
