Praying When You Have Been Disappointed The Lord said in, Psalm 22:5 They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. Disappointment hits us in many forms throughout our life. We lose jobs, friendships, people, opportunities, as well as hopes and dreams. What we think we have today can easily disappear. When disappointment slams us against the wall, we do not want to try again or trust again. However, there is a power you can access in the middle of disappointment. The power is the love and assurance of Christ. In Christ, you have someone you can trust who will not disappoint you. In Christ, you can find someone who will always be there for you. When you are disappointed you often do not feel like praying. However, you should pray and tell Christ about the way things are with you. If you are willing to invest your life in Him, He will invest Himself in you by enveloping you with the wonderful presence of His Holy Spirit. In Christ, there is no disappointment.
