Praying for great results today!! Love you Kylie boo! As you all can tell, Kylie has been doing very good these last few days. Shes had so much energy, only having one nap, and staying up til 12-1 in the morning! Its so hard seeing how difficult chemo is on her, always knocking her down, but then seeing how amazingly well she pulls through... Well she just amazes me! When her counts dropped this last time they went all the way to zero. She was in a lot of pain so they put her on a continuous morphine drip. But because my girl is such a fighter the morphine wasnt phasing her. So they then switched her to a continuous fentanyl drip. It seemed to help a little better. We are thinking she got sores not in her mouth, but down her GI tract because she was so miserable, but we couldnt see anything. Luckily as her counts started to rise so did her spirit. She is feeling so much better now. We havent seen her like this in what feels like forever so we are soaking in every smile and every giggle we get! Tomorrow and Friday are big days for us. Tomorrow Kylie is getting a CT scan of her head to see her jaw, where she has two boney lesions, and behind her right eye. Friday she has another CT scan of her chest, abdomen, and pelvis, an MIBG scan which will light up every where there is a lesion on her bones, and another bone morrow biopsy. Please pray that all these scans show great improvement. We left SD because they said her tumors were growing more, but they dont really believe that here so it will be nice to get an actual answer. Please please please pray they arent growing and we can report all good scans! I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord ’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
