Praying for strength today as I bury my beloved and beautiful Angus kitty who went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday evening. He had been ailing and I am so thankful for the extra 5 weeks and 1 day that I got to have him in my life from when I first thought I might lose him. He was always such a joy and a delight and a loving companion to me for the almost 15 years that I was his mom. And he died peacefully on his own terms (not when some vet suggested it was time for him to go) in his own home with his other kitties there and me by his side. He was loved dearly and he is going to be missed terribly, but now he can run free at the Bridge with my other babies, Wally, Tori, Ashley, Zach, and Baby Kitty. Rest in peace, sweet Angus, I will see you one day. And as the famous yoga guru, BKS Iyengar, who also died yesterday, August 20th, 2014, always said, live happily and die majestically. You, my Angus, did that.
