Praying for the Residents of Wellington Place Apartment Midland, City. Yesterday Evening a fire destroyed complex F 8 families. Thank God Everyone in that complex got out safe, but everyone living there lost everything I am told I knew some people personally who lived in the upstairs apartments. UPDATED: 5:00 PM Structure Fire - Apartment on Mance Newton RoadRickey Stokes DALE COUNTY: Fire Departments from Midland City and Dothan are on the scene of an active structure fire on Mance Newton Road. There is smoke and flames visible. Midland City immediately called for Dothan Fire to assist. Two Dothan Fire trucks UPDATED @ 5:00 PM Firefighters from Pinkard, Midland City, and Dothan are battling an apartment fire that houses 8 families. Firefighters now have the fire under control and are putting out several hidden fires and hot spots. Everyone was able to make it to safety when the fire broke out. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. The apartment complex is still blocked off as firefighters continue to fight the fire.
