Preacher: Sister Idaline Joelle. Topic: WILL THE HOLY SPIRIT BE PRESENT AFTER THE RAPTURE? FIND OUT! We can only find it out by reading the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, known as the Bible. The Bible says in 2 Timothy: 3:16:17: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. First of all let us bear in mind that the Holy Spirit is a person, not “it” or a bird. (See John: 14:15:26; John: 15:26; John: 16:1:15) John: 16:13:14 says: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. Before we answer the question, let us ask ourselves this: was the Holy Spirit in action or present in the Old Testament? Genesis 1:26 says: And God said, Let US make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. The Almighty God said to God the Son and the Holy Spirit: Let US make man….. This tells us that both Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit were in the beginning with God the Father, but the Holy Spirit was not yet given or active in the lives of those who lived in the Old Testament. The Almighty God said again to Jesus Christ and to the Holy Spirit in Genesis: 3:22 : Behold, the man is become as one of US, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever. (See also Isaiah: 6:8, Genesis: 11:7) Although the Holy Spirit was in the beginning with God the Father and the Son, but He was not yet in action, until Jesus has ascended into Heaven. (See John: 16:5:15) You could be asking yourself: If the Holy Spirit was not in the lives of those who lived in the Old Testament, how did the Almighty God speak to them? In the Old Testament God has assigned angels to speak to His people, He spoke to them Himself, and sometimes by the mouths of His prophets. Genesis:18:1:4 says: And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant: Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. (Read also: Genesis: 18:8:21) Genesis: 18:9:12 says: And they said unto him, where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, after I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? Genesis: 6:13:14 says: And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. (See also: Genesis: 12:1:9; 17:1:27, 2 Samuel: 2:1) Genesis: 19:1:3 says: And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servants house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. 1 Kings:18:1:2 says: And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth. And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria. (See also: 1 Kings: 18:41:46, 2 Kings: 3:11:20) 2 Samuel: 12:1:2 says: And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, there were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds. (Read: 2 Samuel: 12:1:23; 1 Samuel: 15:1: 35; 1Samuel:16:1:13) The Bible says in Isaiah: 38:1:3: In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. (Read also: 2 Kings: 7:1:20) I have illustrated that the Almighty God spoke Himself to His people, sent His angels and spoke to His people through His prophets; even though the Holy Spirit was present. LET US LOOK AT THE NEW TESTAMENT. When Jesus Christ was sent to die for you and I on the Cross at Calvary, the Holy Spirit was only in Jesus Christ alone, not yet in the lives of His disciples, only after He has ascended into Heaven that the Holy Spirit came in the lives of those who believed in Him as He has promised them. (See: acts: 1:8; Acts: 2:1:39; Acts: 8:14:40; Acts: 10:34:48; Acts: 11:1:26) The Bible says: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. (Matthew: 12:26:28) In Jesus Christ were the Holy Spirit, and God the Father. (See also: John: 10:30) Jesus Christ said in John: 8:29: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. Words of Jesus Christ in John: 14:10:11: Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake. It was only after Jesus Christ’s death, resurrection and ascension that the Holy Spirit came upon His disciples and all of us who believe in Him, the Holy Spirit will not be on earth after the rapture. Jesus Christ said in John: 16:7:11: Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will NOT come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. The Holy Spirit came in the lives of those who believed in Jesus Christ i.e.: His disciples and Christians after Christ’s ascension. John: 15:26 says: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. John: 14:15:18 says: If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Understand this beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus, after the rapture the Holy Spirit will not be in the lives of those left behind; they will just have to hold on to their faith, and to all that they knew about God and His word. John: 7:38:39 says: He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) The Holy Spirit was given after Jesus Christ’s ascension into Heaven, When He will return to take those who are eagerly waiting for Him (Hebrews: 9:28), the Holy Spirit will also be out of this world. Beloved brothers, sisters, men and women of God after the rapture, this world will be without God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is still in the lives of Christians because the rapture has not yet taken place, when Jesus Christ will return for His bride, the Holy Spirit will not be in the lives of those left behind, so amend your ways, holiness is the only way to enter God’s Kingdom. (See: 1Peter: 1:15:16, Heb: 12:14:15, Leviticus: 11:44:45, Revelation: 21:8; 22:14:15) Also understand that the Holy Spirit is the One restraining all the evil things, anti Christ and all things that the Bible talks about from happening, but once He is taken out of the way during the rapture, all the evil things will befall those left behind ( see Revelation:9:1:21), brothers, sisters, men and women of God amend your ways, live peaceably with all men, do not hold grudge, but forgive and let go of bitterness, anger, envy and malice, without peace with all men and holiness no one will ever see the Lord, but will be left behind to face the beasts of Revelation. Repent today! The Holy Spirit is the restrainer! The Bible says in 2 Thessalonians: 2:6:8: And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. After the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way, those left behind will see the anti Christ and all his evil actions take place after the rapture; because the Holy Spirit is still in the lives of believers, so satan and his angels cannot fully operate. The angels of the Lord sent by God to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah said to Lot: Hurry, escape there. For I CANNOT DO anything UNTIL you ARRIVE there.” Genesis: 19:22 It was only after Lot’s family were taken out of Sodom and Gomorrah that the Lord God rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah; so it will be after the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way, then the anti Christ and all the beasts of revelation will torment those left behind. It’s called Tribulation Period. You do not want to be left behind to face the beasts of Revelation and all the plagues that will take place after the rapture; it will indeed be a world without God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amend your ways, repent of your sins, stop leading a double life, stop using evil powers behind the pulpit to deceive God’s Children, live peaceably with all men and in holiness, let go of anger, envy, bitterness, reconcile with the offended brother, sister, nephew, niece, aunt, uncle, mother in law, father in law, your deacon, deaconess, Pastor, Bishop, Reverend, Evangelist, your father and mother. The Holy Spirit will not be on earth after the rapture, or during the tribulation period. This is just one of the plague after the rapture : And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. Revelation: 9:2:6 If you are still living in sin, come to God in repentance today before it’s eternally too late for you; if you are not born again come to God in repentance today before it’s eternally too late for you and if you are leading a double life come to God in repentance today by praying this prayer with meaning in your heart: Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I thank you because you love me. Jesus Christ, I believe in my heart that you are the son of God and that you died for me, so that my sins can be forgiven. And I believe that you were raised from the dead, so that I may be justified. Right now, I ask you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. I confess you now as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you because I am NOW born again and a brand new person and that I will one day be with you in heaven. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen! If you meant this prayer in your heart congratulations, you are now a child of God, and your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad. Alleluia! (See John: 1:12:13, Luke: 10: 20, Revelation: 20:15, Galatians: 3:26; Galatians: 4:7) John: 1:12:13 says: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. KJV *Read your Bible every day to get to know Christ Jesus better. (See: Joshua: 1:8, Psalm: 1:1:3, Job: 23:12, Jeremiah: 15:16) *Talk to God in prayer every day. (1Thessalonians:5:17, Luke: 18:1, Ephesians: 6:18) *Be baptized, worship, fellowship and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is the FINAL authority. (See: Acts: 2:38; 2:42:43; 6:4) *Tell others about Jesus Christ. (2Timothy: 4:2:5, Matthew: 28:18:20, 1Corinthians:9:16) Words of Jesus Christ: in John: 15:22: If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. SELAH! Remember to share God’s word and to win the lost in His Kingdom. Have a blessed day. You are loved and blessed.
