Preacher treatment!!! There are a couple scenarios here...1 you meet somebody and in mid conversation with this person they ask what you do for a living or what hobbys you have? You tell them Im a preacher or I do Christian music... They start recapping what they said and start apologizing for what they said lol... Please people dont do this!!! Be who you are as long as my kids arnt around I really dont care what you say, just saying... I would prefer to have a real conversation with you how you are in that moment than for you to act how you think, I think, you should act... Please dont change for me, because Im not the one you should change for... Scenario 2 you tell somebody what you do and they proceed to tell you why they dont believe in Jesus or the bible.. They always say the same thing too... You expect me to believe in a book that was wrote by man... To be honest I dont expect you to believe in anything... if I expected everybody to believe in what I believe in I wouldnt be a disciple. I wouldnt feel called to teach the gospel... Truthfully I would rather show Christ by loving god and loving my neighbor with all my heart mind and soul... I do think everybody needs him if I didnt, I really wouldnt be rapping about him... It is ironic however these same people that say I dont believe in the bible because it was wrote by man. Will say things like I believe more in science... Who do you think wrote those science books that brought you to that belief in science? That would be like me meeting a science professor and telling him I dont believe in gravity... He would look at me like Im stupid... I would say the same thing that I have heard so many times... How can I believe in something I cant see? He would prob say you feel it when you walk, you know that hurt on your feet... So am I so crazy for believing in something I feel when I walk? The difference in god and gravity is... The more you walk with gravity the more you hurt.. The more you walk with god the less you hurt... Honestly I welcome both scenarios, you never know if your watering the seed or planting it... Like I said I would rather plant a seed by loving them than to have an intense conversation which usually ends the way it started... Thanks for letting me share:)
