Precious Savior, As we rise in to meet the day help us be aware that you find where we are in life. Some you will find close to you secure in your fold. While others have wonder off for greener pastures. Wherever you find us we discover that you love us. In our faithless moment reassure us of your presence. In trials, tests and tempests bring your calming presence and speak your word to calm them before they overwhelm us. We pray for the strength to trust you more and courage to follow you as you call us out of our comfort zones. Grant us the fortitude to stand with the disenfranchised, hurting and broken people of our communities. As we reach into their lives so reach into our lives ti help lift them from their plights heal us through our expressions of love. Lord may we be of one mind with you today. Help us to step out of the way of our busy lives to recognize our need for you. Come live through us today that we might confront the demons in our lives and be released from their temptations. May we reaffirm not only your presence but more importantly our trust in your ways. We prayer for faithfulness that we may seek you in every way. Live in and through us as we open our souls to you in this day and forevermore. Amen.
