Precious update Rescued May 2, 2014 Days of recovery and rehabilitation = 35 days Precious is doing so good. I just looked at the pictures of May 2nd when I rescued her. Ill put all these pictures in an album when I have a few minutes spare and post it so that those of you who are following her recovery can see how much her condition has improved. I want to share with you some statistics which I find interesting. When there is a dog at risk on FB many people shout RESCUE!!! Most of the time the person who rescues and who takes responsibility is unknown and not supported. I use FB to reach you, my compassionate supporters, but most people dont. This is where the suffering of the dog is transferred to the people and that is why I try so hard to help the mamas as well as the dogs. My hours of service 35 x 3 hours per day. This is excessive, because I mop and disinfect all the time. I change her water at least two times a day because some of the food she ate just before she drank her water always ends up in the water. It is hot and these remainders of food starts to decompose in the water. This is not good for her body. That is why I change the water so often. I mop and disinfect all the time because I want to prevent further contamination, her contaminating herself. I share these statistics with you the audience because I have never given this any thought before I became involved in rescuing. Understanding the commitment in time make me appreciate every rescuer and every mama and papa so much more. I am the mop diva! Will I do it again? Absolutely. I walk into her room and serve her with so much gratitude. I encourage anybody to do this.
