Precipitation coverage is expanding across central into southern parts of West Central Texas. A cold rain has persisted from San Angelo to the east and southeast, while snow has been occurring in Irion and Sterling Counties. Temperatures are starting to slowly drop, and snow is mixing with the rain in San Angelo. We expect a transition to all snow shortly, with some snow also extending south through Eldorado and Sonora. We could have an inch of accumulation, mainly on grassy surfaces. Bridges and overpasses could become slick, so drive with extra caution if you have to be out.
