Preface: I support our current commercialism of xmas...its fun. Im not keen on lyn to my son bout St. Nick, but hey, im not gunna deprive him of creativity and possibly being the outcast in this extreme theological environment we live in. That being said, I notice a lot of anti non-christian posts all over my fb....so id figure id through some logic from my point of view out there... please take the time to read, I take the time to watch ur videos n read ur opinions.... When I lived in Frankfurt, Germany, I often visited the Guttenburg museum in Mainz. Loved that place, amazing prints. Guttenburg was the inventor of the mass printing press round 1400 ce. Of course, he was the first to mass produce the bible; the first. Today the Bible is the most widely sold book on the planet. It far, far surpasses the next best selling book and is translated into nearly 500 different languages, interepretations, and other versions. Revelations was completed around 95 CE. So between the year 100 and the year 1440 (1340 years) there was no mass production of the bible. And even in 1440 there werent many copies being made. Perhaps by 1500 bible printing as a buisiness was in full swing. So were talking about nearly 1500 years or so of hand writing or hand stamping/screening. Now, if it is true that you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to enter the kingdom of heaven then Id like to know what reason God or Jesus had for allowing those that had never seen a bible before to go to hell. For 1500 years most people probably strolled around having never heard of Jesus Christ. And there really werent enough missionaries to send to all the remote locations of the world and spread the word by mouth. Why would God punish those for something they had absolutely no control over? (I could right a 15 page argument on this, but I wont...ill keep it to one example of power by ignorance)This begs the question, is it blind faith,.or merely faith. Faith when it suits you? Or faith to promote the community. Are churches elitists? How often do you hear christians demonize the poor n those that are welfare recipients? What are those church groups really doing? Collecting cans? Really.....anyways, I have no issue with faith, I do find it to be simple logic, but im not one to judge, if it works for u, more power to you. But lets not forget what we are really celebrating this time of year: buying lil johnny a new xbox game so ya can jus sit him in front of a tv, n not actually raise him or promote culture...I could go on...but ill stop...ha...merry christmas, happy kwanza, happy hannakuh, happy shopping.. (Information quoted by many authors, n some critical thinkn by me)
