Prejudice can cloud your mind - get rid of it. Now hear this.... I have just been listening to Radio 4 (yeah old fxxt I know...) and listening inspired me to write this. I was in London on a day trip one time and as usual trying to navigate the tube, eye-ing the map without looking like a tourist - trying to blend in and not become a victim. I was in the ticket lobby of I forget which tube station when this massive, and I mean massive Rastafarian guy comes up to me and is about to speak... oh sxxt I think - here goes, I have victim and target written all over me, what is he going to do, ask for, take from me..... he ambles up and says something like Hey mate and then goes into some spiel which I can hardly take in I was so worried about what might happen. Anyway after about 30 seconds he hands me a ticket. I look at the ticket and back at him wondering what the hell is going on. He says something like - I bought the ticket but never used it, changed my mind or something along those line. You have it. And walked away. Never asked for anything and even said have a nice day out in London. Unbelievable and goes to show that your prejudices are just that - prejudices and you should throw them out the door.
