Premiers Award for advancing healthcare, awarded to Alfred Healths Out of the dark project, a CARPS powered initiative for after hours care. At the 2013 Victorian Public Healthcare Awards gala ceremony the State’s best and brightest received awards in categories including patient centered-care, healthcare innovation, health leadership and the Premiers award for advancing healthcare. ‘Out of the dark: Timely Quality Care - After Hours Working Group was recognized for introducing a new model of care that includes a new team structure and roles, processes to streamline care and centralization of task management utilizing Carps clinical to effectively manage Alfred Healths resources and staff at night to provide the best level of care possible for our patients.
