Preparatory thought for myself. If John Swinney decideds to raise my income tax I will not be chuffed. But I will if my heart is true, be totally prepared to accept the extra burden and carry that extra burden if this is what is right for Scotland. I am fully prepared and ready to pay for what I believe in; hoping that, the opportunity for full fiscal autonomy through the pursuit of an independent Scotland may be next. If and when Swinney exercises his new fiscal rights, I hope OUR Scottish politicians understand the strain this will put on the Scottish Tax payers, and pull into line and stop the scamming of expenses claims. I find nothing more appalling and abhorrent, that the poor get perused for scamming a few pounds or so from the DHSS, while our politicians freely take form the tax I pay for luxury and inconsequential expenses. Wholly unjustifiable. Please Scottish politicians, rise above the stigma, be the new generation of descent politician and give us a fare deal in you management of our money.
