Prepare The Way Of The Lord When were burdened and exhausted, even a minor problem can seem too big for us to handle. As we encounter a trial in life, were tempted to sit down at the base of that difficult hill and stay there, convinced that the grade is too steep for us. That is why we need the encouragement of Gods Word. It draws our attention to our untiring God, who knows our need. Isaiah wrote. Ifaiah XL: (KJV 1611) 28 Hast thou not known ? hast thou not heard, that the euerlastng God, the Lord, the Creatour of the ends of earth, fainteth not, neither is wearie ? there is no searching of his vnderstanding. 29 He giueth power to the faint, and to them that haue no might, he increa- seth strength. Because we so easily misjudge lifes difficulties, we need courage to keep going when we are tempted to quit. 31 But they that waite vpon the Lord, shall renew their strength : they shall mount vp with wings as Ea- gles, they shal runne and not be weary, and they shall walke, and not faint.
