Preparing for another work week. Asking this morning for my Heavenly Fathers love, strength and guidance for this day as I start out knowing that I may find something exciting and new to encounter. Thanking Him for His grace, strength, joy and love as I prepare for this day. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. (Colossians 4:6 KJV) Have you ever thought about your daily speech, perhaps your conversations with one another? Janice always used to tell me, especially when I felt that I had to. Express myself in words to others, that I should stop and pray about what I needed to say. Most of you know me as I truly am. I speak my mind, sometimes, well honestly quite often it gets me in trouble when I do that. I know after years of experiences and having to eat crow I have realized that I must weigh my words and often stop and ask The Lord to guide my thoughts and reactions. Im so thankful He did that then and still at times continues to do that now. Our tongue is the smallest member of our physical body but can be the most dangerous utensil of our spiritual use. Stop, pray, asking your Heavenly Father to guide your thoughts and select your words and you will issue out sayings that will heal instead of destroy. Love and prayers to each of you today as you go about His business in your daily life. Take my life and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee. *Take my moments and my days, Let them flow in endless praise. Take my hands and let them move At the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet and let them be Swift and beautiful for Thee. Take my voice and let me sing, Always, only for my King. Take my lips and let them be Filled with messages from Thee. Take my silver and my gold, Not a mite would I withhold. Take my intellect and use Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose. Take my will and make it Thine, It shall be no longer mine. Take my heart, it is Thine own, It shall be Thy royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour At Thy feet its treasure store. Take myself and I will be Ever, only, all for Thee.
