Preparing for the Treaty 1-11 gathering next week in fort quappelle. Well, tryna figure out how to get there actually. It always bugged me how there was little reporting from these gatherings to the people. Now im in a position of responsibility to do so. Weve had some meetings but with little turn outs. Hopefully well have a bigger turnout for next time. Ive been learning so much about community dynamics, group thinking, collective mindsets, and systems. It amuses me how our communication styles are to each other. We can be so critical, cynical, victim, blame, defense, and passive aggressive. We have to keep positive, have positive intent in our communication. This has been challenging for me since being within this system... such a valued learning experience.
