Prepping for Friday Evenings rest to start. We always start our observation of our Shabbat with Challah, Wine and Blessings. Today, Im trying yet another new recipe to perfect Challah for my dear, sweet and beautiful friend Christine. Since this dough will not have gluten, it will wont need (require) to be kneaded as deeply since we will not be strengthening the bands of gluten. So, Ill need to watch it closely, keeping me in my kitchen, so why not spend the time making cookies?! My Family says, No more Pumpkin! ;) • 1/2 cup lukewarm water • 6 tablespoons vegetable oil • 1/4 cup honey • 2 large eggs • 4 cups Gluten free all purpose flour • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt • 1 tablespoon instant yeast Glaze • 1 large egg beaten with 1 tablespoon cold water Lets see what happens...
