Prerequisites for Healing: Sub Rosa: The order R+C maintains that it is not primarily a healing order. Healings, as such, should only be asked for as supplements to other methods of health restoration. The order recognizes that transition is inevitable. In cases where the person who is suffering has reached a stage where transition is quite apparent, a healing should not be requested. We sympathize with these people and fully recognize the angst that their loved ones are experiencing. Such healing sessions give, at the very least, a sense of false hope to the person who is ill. In most cases, the ill person is not able to follow the guidelines set forth in the healing guide, and – as such – any healing would be inefficient. The patient, and his or her loved ones, would be better served by a prayer session for their peace. Minor ailments such as stubbed toes, headaches, etc. should not be grounds for healings. It is not in our repertoire to perform magical incantations to restore lost relationships. We do not do match-making. The preferred method of our healing sessions requires the suppliant to directly ask for a healing. The usage of substitute and transformational healings from one per-son, to the actual person to be healed, are not particularly effective in our estima-tion and should be avoided. In such matters, we reserve the right to turn down anyone who may wish to act as a third party surrogate for a healing. WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ACCOMODATE ALL WHO MAY WISH TO HAVE AN ABSENT HEALING SESSION. CAVEAT: Healings are not games, and must be approached with great dignity and respect by both sides of the process. In light of this, it is asked that any party wishing to partake of one of our healing sessions evaluate the why and reason for the request, before it is made. They must be willing to trust and commit their inner self and full spiritual body, as well as physical health, to a cosmic effluence [Some-thing that flows out or forth; an emanation]. Total belief in such a process is, as such, of utter importance. Total trust in the circle of healers is a requirement. As set down in the healing guide, there is no guarantee – one way or the other – that any success will take place whatsoever. No one seeking our help should con-fuse us with faith healers, psychic surgeons, magical operators, or any other similar groups, persons or spirits. May the Cosmic bless you. So Mote It be.
