Presbyterians – From my friend and colleague Rabbi Jeff Salkin You would have thought that David Dukes endorsement -- and that alone -- would have given the PCUSA pause. You would have thought that someone might have stood up and said: My brothers and sisters, we are all concerned over the situation in Israel and Palestine. It was bad enough that our good and holy name was attached, at least temporarily, to Zionism Unsettled. But we are now faced with something far worse. David Duke has endorsed our proposal to essentially thrown our hat in with the BDS movement. My brothers and sisters in Christ, do we really want the PCUSA to show up in the same google search, and linked together? How will we move forth from here and look our Jewish neighbors and colleagues in the eyes?
