Presenting #MUSCLEMEMORY by Muscle&Fashion.... walking lunges! I do them EVERY leg day. Either as my warmup before a squat session to increase my hip ROM and get blood flow started in the direction Ill be needing it (to the legs!), on my heavy after a compound movement as a split body movement challenging my core as well as the mechanics of each side of my body (typically choice dumbbell loaded as I have other predominate backloaded movements those days), and lastly as CONDITIONING (my word for cardio)... If you do a set of 20 lunges per leg and you arent winded you were doing something wrong. Drop a weight a bit and do high rep small rest lunges and guarantee you will be out of breath and dripping. Challenge for everyone - yes even you big lifters.... 3 sets of 5 min of continuous alternating stationary lunges only 90 sec between sets at the end of your next leg day. @joe_parsee and I do it regularly - so if you think your above bodyweight think again. Training your muscles and all ways WILL make you see result and get stronger in EVERY way.
