Presently, God still give visions to people? Can God give visions to people today?Yes! Does God give visions to people today? Possibly. Should we expect that the visions they are a regular occurrence? No. As recorded in the Bible, God has spoken to many people many times through visions. Examples are Joseph the son of Jacob, Joseph the husband of Mary, Solomon, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Peter, Paul and many others. The prophet Joel predicted a great manifestation of visions, and this was confirmed by the apostle Peter in Chapter 2 Acts. Note: The difference between a vision and a dream, a vision is experienced when a person is awake while a dream occurs when the person is asleep. In many parts of the world, God seems to be using extensively visions and dreams. In areas where there is little or no available evangelistic message, God is taking his message directly to the people. This is entirely consistent with the biblical example of the frequent use of visions by God to reveal His truth to people in the early days of Christianity (see the Book of Acts). If God wishes to communicate your message to a person, He can use any means He finds necessary - a missionary, an angel, a vision, a dream, etc.. Since then, God has the ability to give visions in areas where the Gospel message has been available. There is no limit to what God can do. At the same time, we must be very careful in everything about visions and interpretation. We must remember that the Bible is complete, and tells us all we need to know. The key truth is that if God gives a vision, you must be in complete agreement with what He has already revealed in His Word. Visions will never have an equal or greater authority than the Word of God. The Word of God is our final authority in faith and Christian practice. If you think you had a vision and feel that perhaps God gave it to you, prayerfully consider what God wants you to do in response to that vision (James 1:5). God does not give you insight to a person and then hide its meaning. In Scripture, every time a person asked God the meaning of a vision, God made sure that this was explained to him that person (see Daniel 8:15-17).
