Presently, we are sailing off the coast of Gambia. It is raining and it is a relief from all the heat and humidity. Last night at dinner, we got into a terrible storm with lightning. The ship started to list to port side and gave us a few scary moments. We had to hold on to our plates to keep them from crashing to the slanted floor. But we all came through the storm real fine. Last night the show was tremendous in the Show Room. We had a pianist that just mesmerized me. I mean she could really tinkle the ivories. I attended both of her shows. We then went into the Casino Lounge to attend a sing-a-long with Sammy Goldstein. He too, is a fabulous piano player. We go to his show every night. We sang a total of 45 songs. It was really enjoyable. After 2030 the ship gets very quiet. Most of the folks turn in early. Oh well, having a grand time. We will be in Dakar, Senegal tomorrow.
