Presents are awesome! Its great to give them, its great to receive them. I dont know if someone gave you something you REALLY wanted or if it was all chocolates and socks? I got enough films and tv to keep me going till my birthday, so, Im WELL-chuffed! (I did get socks too by the way) You may have already seen videos of the shoe box appeals like the one Ive posted here...amazing, simple joy! Thought it was worth seeing again 😃 It doesnt take much to make someone happy. Its the old story of giving your kids a big toy and they take the toy out and play with the box. Its not the STUFF that makes us happy - its what that stuff MEANS to you or WHO it comes from. For me a movie or favourite TV series means relaxing, sometimes by myself, but often chillin with my kids. Now, thats one of the best things I can do with my life. Theres something else I love - to cheer someone up, to make them happy, and sometimes to make em laugh. (If you have ever seen any of my personal posts, you might know that already). Its an amazing thing to help someone go from normal-average to Yeah! Brilliant!.. We all have he power to do that. You know, Its really important to ENJOY your life. How can you NOT want to when youre Heavenly Dad wants you to? Its also REALLY GREAT to help or see others enjoy life, most of all our kids. As we are in that strange in-between time of Christmas and New Year...it would be a great goal to choose this year to Enjoy life like you NEVER HAVE before. Take a chance on Fun and Happiness! I know it scares some of you. Go on, take a risk! If all you got for Christmas was too many chocolates and socks, give the chocolates away and make someone happy! Decide to spread as much happiness to others as possible! Yes, there will be challenges (we can help each other with that when it happens)...so lets be a Joy-Giver, an Encourager and spread some Love and Happiness around. Simple things can change lives. Simple choices can change yours. Wishing you extra Love, Peace and Happiness
