Preserving The House of God, His temple Is biblical and - TopicsExpress

Preserving The House of God, His temple Is biblical and important - we know that the new testament tells us that we, our bodies are the temple of God!! But He was speaking of the temple of His body. (John 2:21 NKJV) If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. (I Corinthians 3:17 NKJV) BUT SO IS THE BUILDING, as some insist in referring to it as. 1) Scripture that confirms The building as Gods HOUSE and THAT IS OFTEN THE MOST POPULAR WHEN PREACHERS ASK FOR TITHES AND OFFERINGS FOR THE CHURCH ( the building)!!!: Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in MY HOUSE... (Malachi 3:10 NKJV)THIS SCRIPTURE IS THE MOST POPULAR SCRIPTURE IN THE CHURCHES WHEN ASKING FOR OFFERING AND TITHES,NOTICE HOW GOD SAYS MY HOUSE? Now why would people on one hand, to ask for offering call it the House of God, (and i have heard it)but then when it comes to keeping it holy, they simply claim that there is no need because it is merely a building, just walls? Isnt this using scripture for their own advantage when it suits? We can call it House of God when asking for money and then deny its value as Gods house when it comes to keeping it holy??!!! It is either one or the other!!! 2) Scripture where Jesus got ANGRY* when He saw the way people treated His Fathers, Gods HOUSE, and He goes on to quote scripture that mentions Gods house as HOUSE OF PRAYER!!: ... Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple. Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’?...” (Mark 11:15-17 NKJV) Question: How do we think people reacted to his actions? - They may have said that He was angry and upset, that He lost it, that He let His emotions get to Him, or He wasnt acting Christian at all, even suffering from obvious distress , and so much more accusations would have resulted from this. Let us look at anger in this occasion... Jesus was UPSET to see that people were not giving the House of His Father the right respect, reverence and zeal that it deserved. *ANGRY BUT DID NOT SIN - Refer to Study Bible to see notes on Mark 11:15-17 - Righteous Indignation or Holy Anger! 3) Next scripture mentions the Temple, but also That The Lord worked harmony, pairing up with the Apostles on their DEDICATED WORK OF OUTREACH!: (Acts 2:46, 47 NKJV) - Refer to Study Bible and see notes on this verses. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple... VERSE 47 HIGHLIGHTS HOW GOD HIMSELF ADDED TO THE CHURCH >>>>And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
