President Alf got a pleasant surprise during the club’s recent weekly meeting, when he received the shield presented to the club which is adjudged to have the best Rotary website in Cumbria and Lancashire. Past President John Green had picked up the award from District Governor Kevin Walsh at the recent District Conference in Newcastle. The website is compiled and updated by club secretary Ron Duxbury who said he was delighted that the club had been recognised for its efforts.
