President Edgar Lungu during the interview at phoenix said he had no personal vision but will ensure the completion of the collective PF vision. To those with little understanding like the Post and its followers below is what Edgar meant. 1.Pf had set a 10 year vision in motion broken down in two. A.To open up Zambia by constructing roads linking the entire Zambia. B. To descentralise the operations of local authorities so as to help with equal distribution of wealth. All these programs are in the PF manifesto which has been praised by many foreign governments and organisations. Abandoning the PF vision and following a personal vision like some leaders are saying will be costly. The budget is already being debated meaning 2015 is already planned for. Plus for many projects, long term contracts have been signed. Reverting to free education, mealie meal, DSTV and free fuel will mean abandoning these projects which have so far cost billions of dollars. Anyone realistic will therefore tell you that whoever will take over the presidency will have to continue with the vision of PF. PF has 82 members in parliament in other words they are majority. For anything to be passed everyone will need PF members on their side.
