President Hadi praises German support to Yemen February 6, 2014 -SANA’A President Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi praised on Thursday the support provided by Germany to fund projects in Yemen, pinning hopes that Germany would continue its support to complete the stalled projects. During his meeting with the Chargé daffaires of the German embassy to Yemen, the President pointed to Yemens need for further economic support to exploit the unemployed and move forward the development process in the country. Hadi valued the cooperation of Germany alongside the countries of the European Union and the ten countries sponsoring the Gulf initiative and theirs support for Yemen during the crisis. The German diplomat conveyed to the German governments congratulations to the President on the successful conclusion of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC). He stressed his countrys adherence to strengthen its relations with Yemen, saying Germany is fully ready to help Yemen to overcome its challenges at the various political, economic and security levels. The terrorist and lawless acts will not deter Germany from continuing its support to succeed the transition process in Yemen, which is a unique model among the Arab Spring countries, the German chargé daffaires said.
