President Hadi receives UN envoy to Yemen, Jamal Bemomar May 31, 2014 -SANAA President Abdrabuh Mansour Hadi received on Saturday the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Yemen, Jamal Ben mar, where they reviewed the latest developments and progress on the Yemeni ground based on the GCC-brokered deal backed by the UNSC relevant resolutions. Also the meeting touched upon the military campaign against terrorist militants along with all success have been made in this regard. Concerning the progress has been made on the Constitution Drafting Committee, Hadi indicated that the everything is going on as it was scheduled in its program and the committee is about to complete the federal constitution of Yemen in accordance with the NDC outcomes, which would establish a new contract and rule under the principles of freedom, justice, and equality in a modern and civilian state. Several issues related to the completion of transitional phase program were discussed during the meeting. Benomrar, reiterated the UN support to Yemen in order to complete the overall transitional phase in the country in accordance with the NDC outcomes.
