President Jammu Kashmir human rights organization Raja Muneer Ahmed has been picked up by Pakistani state secret agencies from Bagh city few days ago. Raja Muneer has been campaigning against the human rights abuses in AJK region and he was one of the petitioners in Pakistan courts who filed about missing persons. Since last few years he got 90 missing persons released from secret agencies custody. His human rights campaign did not go well with these elements who run their own parallel government in their own capacity. Pakistani state has been failed to run its affairs according to its own created law of the land. Pakistani state secret agencies have been unleashed brutal tactics of picking citizens and make them disappear. This tactics have been going in Baluchistan and now AJK region is also target of their secret war unleashed against local human rights activists, political descent. State secret agencies have been harassing political workers, intellectuals, human rights campaigners. Raja Muneer has been sole defender of human rights and vigorously campaigning to get release missing people. Raja Muneer who is resident of Bagh district and long time human right activists and head of Jammu Kashmir human right organization. Raja Muneer and his human rights activists also organized a sit in in front of Pakistani parliament which provoke kidnappers and killer element of state. Pakistani state administration needs to take serious attention what has been going on under their nose. AJK region situation would not be different from Baluchistan if state secret agencies are not controlled by Pakistani government. We strongly condemn Raja Muneer Ahmeds unlawful arrest and demand his immediate unconditional release. There has been unconfirmed news that Raja Muneer has been produced in Margala police station and he will be implicated in a case of Margala police inspectors kidnapping. This police inspector was kidnapped by Taliban and was killed by them and therefore Raja Muneer son is also member of Taliban some where, even though Raja Muneer son had disappeared a decade ago and may had joined Taliban but Raja Muneer cannot be implicated as a leader of human rights defender. Raja Muneer has disown his son activities long time ago and there is no reason to harass him due to his campaign for human rights in AJK region. Raja Muneer is being targeted only because of he exposing Pakistani state secret agencies role in regard to missing persons in AJK and Pakistan. If Pakistani state keep hindering human rights work and harassing people like Raja Muneer Ahmed it would bring disaster in the region where has already been implemented law of Jungle. Raja Muneer Ahmed was illegally picked up by agencies elements and it must be an act of criminality. It is being shameful to our local police which has not taken up the issue as a criminal activity. How it is possible to involve this kind unlawful activities by Pakistani state actors here in AJK region?
