President John Mahama will join the people of Tamale later today, Tuesday, at a ceremony for the start of work on the Upgrading and Expansion of the Tamale Airport into an International Airport. It is one of many earmarked infrastructure improvement projects of the John Mahama Administration, and will be Ghanas second international airport when completed. And as government works to turn Shea Nut into a major cash crop of the Northern Sector of the country, the abandoned Aboabo Supermarket is to be remodeled and completed for use as a Shea Nut Market. President Mahama will be visiting the site for the market, tour an affordable housing project being undertaken by the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly and commission a Rural Electrification Project at Kotingli.
