President Jonathan and his wife are sorely afraid of what would happen to them after their stint in Aso Rock. The desperation shown by him in his quest for second term, not only underlines this premonition but it has inadvertently resulted in cleavages of immense proportion in the polity. Right now, the Country is at its lowest ebb in every ramification (except insecurity and curruption), so much distrust and disunity amongst all Nationalities, so much hate speeches, so much insults on critics of government and so much of all that is negative has come from the presidency, so so much that Dr. JONATHAN has become a bull in a China shop. The Presidency has been severely devalued by serial vendetta of Jonathan on perceived opponents. I do believe that this tribal leader of a President would not benefit from regional and ethnic jingoism come 2015. He has exhausted the goodwill of the people of Nigeria and when he is pushed out in 2015, the Ijaw people, who have hijacked all the benefits from his government, will just vanish from our sight.
