President Jonathan is lucky that Nigeria is not United States. If it were, he would have lost the elections even before the votes are cast. His recent outbursts and unnecessary and incoherent lashing out at anyone and any group that does not seem to be on his side is clearly a sign of an angry and bitter man who is losing grip - which is the fastest way to lose in Politics. This is also being reflected by his supporters who are getting increasingly abusive and aggressive. It is at times like this that the true character of a politician is known. We may yet see the true colour of the President. But how did things get this bad for an incumbent President and the all powerful PDP?
