President Museveni commissions Fine Spinners Garment Factory in Bugolobi today, emphasizes value addition to products The President who was accompanied by First Lady Janet Museveni and Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga thanked Fine Spinners for liberating Uganda from the slavery of exporting raw materials instead of finished products. The policy in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s was wrong. It was raw material export oriented. We have been struggling to solve this problem. I am , therefore, very glad that we have got the right partners ( Fine Spinners ) to help us implement this vision. - said the President.
