President Obama reminds me more each day of Wile E. Coyote, - TopicsExpress

President Obama reminds me more each day of Wile E. Coyote, sending away to the Acme Company in search of whatever new gadget or scheme it might send him for another futile attempt at establishing anything cogent in his administration’s message, be it an honest assessment of a policy or a dignified and strategic response to tragedy. When Russia invaded Crimea he fulfilled a suspect obligation for a golf weekend in Key Largo. The evening of the most recent Fort Hood murders he went to a $32,500.00/plate fund raiser in Chicago. Now with the number of Russian forces on Ukraine’s doorstep estimated at 50,000, he goes to Japan, only to pronounce the capabilities of robots he witnessed during a technological display as “scary.” Talk about a Freudian slip during a time of international crisis. Whether one ascribes to the fact that Obama is a bumbling fool or a radical Islamic infiltrator exercising his own jihad against America by causing as much confusion as possible, neither explanation instills faith in government nor his leadership. The bigger question, however, is how a misfit of such mammoth proportions managed to get elected twice, and the answer unfortunately falls on the 53% of Americans who believe the presidency is a celebrity post or popularity contest, and the fallout with respect to how it affects the country is twofold: a certifiable wing nut continues to operate with impunity out of the Oval Office, and the fact that he remains unchecked despite perpetually lying has given courage to others within the Democrat party to spout similar rhetorical nonsense and hyperbole without any accountability, either. And the 53% find it acceptable. Why?
