President Obamas State of the Union speech: It was a very great speech that covered many issues that concern the world including the Middle East, terrorism, immigration and Ebola. President Obama emphasised the urgency of the eradication of ISIS and bringing Iran to the negotiating table. He appealed emotionally to Congress to pass bills to strengthen domestically the middle class economics, a new term he used to improve the quality living of the American middle class. All in all it was a speech that centered upon how he will work with Republicans and Democrats alike in a non-partisan fashion to deal with the pending agendas until the end of his tenure. But he also promised to veto any action or proposal that doesnt measure up to the quid pro quo he outlined. The Republicans has a majority in both Houses of Congress and could gridlock the presidents remaining programmes, however he, in a retaliation, will use his veto as a tool of last resort. He may also run the presidency using the executive order as his prerogative. But, I believe, the world would be a better place if both branches work together without major setbacks.(MWBoss)
