President Truong Tan Sang has decided to present gifts to policy objects on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2014). President Truong Tan Sang Objects entitled to the gift level of VND400,000 are: - Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who are enjoying monthly preferential allowances and individuals having decisions to be conferred the Vietnamese Heroic Mother title but yet to complete procedures to receive monthly preferential allowances; - martyrs’ relatives who are enjoying monthly nurture allowances for relatives of martyrs; - relatives of two martyrs or more, who are receiving monthly allowances for relatives of martyrs; - wounded, sick soldiers and those entitled to policies similar to wounded soldiers, whose working capacity declines because of injury or sickness from 81% upwards (including B-type wounded soldiers recognized before December 31, 1993), who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; - resistance war activists who were infected with toxic chemicals, causing their working capacity to decrease from 81% upwards, and are receiving monthly preferential allowances. A VND200,000 gift level is for: - wounded, sick soldiers and those entitled to policies similar to wounded soldiers, whose working capacity declines because of injury or sickness from 80% downwards (including B-type wounded soldiers recognized before December 31, 1993), who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; - wounded soldiers who are enjoying the regime for loss of working capacity; - main representatives of martyrs’ relatives (father, mother, wife, husband, children, and those with the merit of rearing martyrs); - people representing families to worship martyrs (siblings and those assigned to worship martyrs by the kin); - resistance war activists who were infected with toxic chemicals, causing their working capacity to decrease from 80% downwards, and are receiving monthly preferential allowances.
