President Uhuru Kenyatta left the country on Wednesday to Russia, where he will meet Russia President, Vladimir Putin. According to State House sources, the President’s jet will left the country on Wednesday morning and arrived in Moscow on Thursday where he will first watch the ongoing World Athletic Championship in Moscow before meeting his host President Putin. The Head of State is expected to watch 3000 steeple chase finals where Olympic champion, Ezekiel Kemboi, is a strong contender for Gold. The President will then open trade talks between Russia and Kenya especially on oil exploration in Turkana County and Niobium mining in Kwale County. Many Russian companies have expressed interest in exploring mineral resources in the country and Uhuru might give them a go ahead. Other sources said the President might pass over China on his 4 day trip to Far East.
