President is not an entry level job. It is not even a job for - TopicsExpress

President is not an entry level job. It is not even a job for someone who has limited experience. It requires someone who is a great leader and impressive manager. President Lyndon Johnson botched the Vietnam war because he was mircomanaging the conflict. In the process he left it clear to the North Vietnamese exactly what his next actions would be. As he sat in the Whitehouse, personally picking targets, they learned how he thought. It made it easy to assure none of his bombing raids were effective. They simply moved the targets out of harms way. Now the worst amateur ever elected President has decided that copying President Jimmy Carter on his economic plan, strangling Americas ability to create jobs is not enough. Obama has decided to copy President Lyndon Johnson in how screw up a war. In war you must move quickly to surprise your enemy. Instead, Obama is telegraphing every single move he is going to make. He will not use our well trained troops to attain quick victory and then LEAVE. (Not leaving being the only stupid action George W. Bush took!) Nope. Obama is going to defeat ISIS by creating and arming three new forces (moderate Syrians, Kurds and a new Iraq army to replace the one we previously trained and armed) , each of which will take a year or two to get ready for battle, and one of which has already been defeated badly when it abandoned the armaments we had given them in the face of ISIS attacks. By the time Obama gets his armies into the battle, it will already be lost. Whether we will have lost the war will depend on factors beyond Obamas control. Calling such a leader an idiot does not seem unreasonable.
