President visits Box 48 President Arthur Peter Mutharika Thursday paid an unannounced visit to Dedza Secondary School where he also did his secondary education. Speaking when he arrived at the campus, the president said he wanted to appreciate the progress that students are making in preserving the high standards of the school. “Box 48 has been known for producing the best students at National exams and you should know that you have a huge responsibility to promote that legacy,” he advised. In his remarks, President Mutharika promised to renovate the hall and the road to the campus which is almost impassable. During the visit the president made a personal donation of K2 million for buying food and use in sports activities plus fifteen 50kg bags of rice, 4 cartons of cooking oil and 1, 000 notebooks.
