Thanks, Jack Vice Presidents Message Hi, Im writing this note two days before the York Swap Meet, the truck is almost packed and I hope sales are great for all the Garden State members who are vendors there. I have been doing some research in the Bob Wurtzel memorabilia & I have found that The Garden State Chapter was Chartered in June 1973 so that is what will be put on the Brick we donated to the National Museum instead of founded 1970. I also found a letter dated 12/66 from a Bill Cervini (does anyone know him?) in Vineland, NJ and they were having a conversation about forming a chapter at that time but Studebaker enthusiasts were hard to find in N.J. Also, from June 1975 the GSC had a car display at the Livingston Mall, it was a short notice arrangement and five cars were displayed & on the final night of the display our Big Club banner was stolen! I know we have a couple of Banners now but was this one ever recovered? (PeterC: NO) It was made by Dot Bottjer, I wonder if this is still in the cold case files at the Livingston Police Dept? (PeterC: Yes) We handed out a few flyers for our Sept. Beachwood show at our last meeting, if you can, make more and hand them out - that would be great. Thanks, See you at Woodys on March 20th.
