Presiident Obama is on campaign mode right about now to push for immigration reform, a key agenda item these folks on the right of the political spectrum dont feel too comfortable about due to the timing of the push. Why President Obama is pushing hard to get Congress to act on a bipartisan effort to reform the system once and for all? Well, it is simply because midterm congressional election is scheduled for November of next year, meaning just around the corner. So pushing the Republicans to vote on this issue is a win-win deal for him. Lets look at the possibilities together. a. If they vote it down, he will campaign against them on that nay vote and easily win the Latino vote. And that vote alone could help the Democrats to win a lot of seats in the House of Representatives and maintain their control in the Senate. b. If, on the hand, they vote for it, he will get all the credit for making it like a dream comes true for all the illegal immigrants in the country. And that simply means that more legal immigrants he could grant citizenship to, more people he will get to rally behind the Democratic agenda in 2014 and 2016.
